Knowledge is power. COVID-19 has made this very clear. Scientists across the world rallied to understand the biology of the virus and develop a vaccine. But knowledge is not only for scientists. Everyone, young or old, needs knowledge to can learn why specific measures are necessary and what we – all of us – can do to keep each other safe.

EDUbox pandemic

Together with partners Brightlab, health house, imec, VRT, the Institute of Tropical Medicine, and the Belgian government, VIB has created an online interactive EDUbox. Students from the third up to the sixth year in secondary school can use this combination of text, video, and online simulations to understand what a pandemic is and what we can do about it.
